The Old 18 Hole Golf Course at Formby Hall Golf Club
This 18-hole championship parkland course set in 135 acres of tree-lined splendour offers the perfect setting and test for all golfing enthusiasts. Its endless challenges including tree lined fairways, large undulating greens, reveted bunkers and numerous lakes and ponds, provides the ideal setting for you to put your game to the test.
Hole 16 - Par 3 - 189 yards
The emphasis is on club selection as an accurate tee shot is required. The prevailing wind is generally straight back towards the tee adding to the difficulty of this hole. This picturesque yet testing Par 3, with 170 yard carry over water, and 6 well placed green side bunkers waiting to catch any errant tee shot, leaves very little margin for error.
Ranked among the best championship golf courses in the UK, it's an established venue for the European Challenge Tour and the European Professional Seniors Tour. Many high quality charity and pro-am events are also hosted here.
